From 09–25 June 2026, the District Justice Office of Mahaxay District, Khammouane Province, conducted outreach activities on laws and legal instruments, as well as mobile legal consultation services.

- The activity was led by Mr. Khamsathit Phommady, Head of the District Justice Office of Mahaxay, together with staff and heads of technical units of the Office. The activity was also attended by representatives of the Pananam Cluster Administration Committee and the Phonmuang Cluster Administration Committee, who participated in the event.

The outreach covered a total of seven villages, namely: Nasae Village, Nakathangdong Village, Phonnady Village, Teng Village, Napouak Village, Phonmuang Village, and Napha Kaeo Village.

A total of 425 participants attended the sessions, including 142 women.

The legal instruments and regulations disseminated during the activity included:

- Selected provisions of the Civil Code, including: family law, property ownership, contractual obligations, non-contractual obligations, and inheritance;

- Court registration procedures;

- Family registration procedures;

- Roles and responsibilities of the District Justice Office;

- Decree on Legal Aid

The objective of the outreach activities was to enhance public awareness and deepen understanding of the Party’s policy directions and the State’s legal framework, ensure effective implementation of laws as they are promulgated, and promote a strong culture of legal compliance and respect for the law among the population.
